| Advantages︰ | Succimer is a relatively specific heavy metal chelating agent. It is an orally active water-soluble analogue of BAL.

Dosage and Administration
The recommended dose is 10 mg/kg orally every 8 hours for 5 days, then every 12 hours for 14 days; do not exceed a dose of 1.8 g/day in adults.
